Meal Prep Monday: Baked Ziti Edition Yall know by now that every Sunday , I meal prep to save myself time and energy—because it makes my life so much easier during the busy week. No stressing over what to eat, no last-minute drive-thru stops—just good food, ready to go. This week, I made one of my favorites: baked ziti for dinner. Comfort food, but make it *prepped and ready to go. I kept it classic with pasta, marinara, and a cheese, but balanced it out by adding sautéed zucchini on the side. Because if I don’t prep my veggies ahead of time, I’m definitely *not* reaching for them midweek. If you want to make it, here’s how: For the Ziti: - ziti pasta - lean ground turkey / sausage - marinara sauce - shredded mozzarella - grated Parmesan - garlic powder - Italian seasoning - salt & pepper to taste For the Zucchini: - 2 medium zucchinis, sliced -@kinders - salt & pepper to taste How to Make It: 1. Preheat oven to 350°F. 2. Cook pasta according to package instructions. 3. Brown the ground turkey/sausage, season it to your liking, then stir in marinara. 4. Layer pasta, ricotta mix, meat sauce, and mozzarella in a baking dish. 5. Bake for 15 minutes broil on high for 1 min. oruntil bubbly. 6. Toss zucchini with olive oil & seasoning, then sauté. 7. Portion everything out for easy meals during the week. This one’s a meal prep staple for me—would you try it? Or do you like to keep your ziti strictly fresh and *not* prepped? • • • •
