Having my son and experiencing a newborn without NICU time has been such a different journey—one I’m so grateful for 🥺🤍 But it’s also made me reflect on my daughter’s start to life and how much she had to fight in those early days. The sweet moment when you get to bring your baby home from the hospital NICU 🥲 As we prepared & prayed to become mom and dad, we never expected to also be a NICU mom and dad. As we got closer to meeting our precious baby, we didn’t know he would also be a preemie baby. Although it was an unexpected part of our journey and our sweet baby boy arrived six + weeks early — God has been so good. So grateful for the gift of our strong & brave baby boy.
