Wild-caught vs. farm-raised salmon: Both are incredibly nutritious and great options. Wild-caught salmon comes from a natural environment, which some people value for sustainability and a more natural upbringing. However, this is just my late-night thought—but technically, I’d assume wild-caught fish might be exposed to more environmental pollutants and parasites because it lives in an uncontrolled habitat. On the other hand, farm-raised salmon are raised in a controlled environment with a regulated diet (and yes, carotenoids in their feed give them that pink color). That said, farming isn’t perfect—overcrowding or poor practices could lead to disease or even potential parasite risks. At the end of the day, both are fantastic sources of omega-3s and protein. This is just a lighthearted thought— don’t stress about it too much!
