Fruit sales are my fav! I love making orders, and my customers are seriously the best.🫶 Fun fact- we recently were able to get this warehouse that my great grandfather built, back into the family! And the man, Jeff B, who sold it back to my dad, is the father of the gal made the pear cuff, and the apple necklace I’m wearing in this vid. (MyFathersDaughterJewelry) It’s SO nice to have this warehouse because when I started in high school, I had to get up early before school and pack boxes using my headlights 😅 (the shop I stored my fruit in didn’t have electricity). So having proper storage cooling systems, and good lighting is the BEST! These are not just regular moths though, these codling moths cannot reproduce & therefore keep populations down in treated orchards. We work with M3 Agriculture Technologies, who specialize in the S.I.R process, all the way through. Here’s a dollar store hack to deter the deer from your fruit trees and garden spaces. In the winter months as food becomes more scarce, the deer love to chew on tender shoots and rub up against trees, esp young tender trees like my young mini orchard. The first year these were planted, they nearly took out my Bartlet Pear (it is slowly recovering). Last year they really destroyed the two Methley Plum trees on the end. And then, of course, they ruined my entire peach harvest last year, though thankfully left the tree parts alone. 🤦🏻♀️ It was time for fencing.
