Did you know The American Academy of Pediatrics is now approving weight loss drugs for kids as young as 12? While I support every parent’s decision to do what they feel is best, the truth is: without practical nutrition education, these tools won’t address the root of the issue. That’s why I created my program, Raising Balanced Eaters (RBE)—to give parents the knowledge and strategies they need to set their kids up for a lifetime of health and confidence. Go to www.RBEnetwork.com (in bio) to get the link to join and start transforming your family’s health today. Don’t wait—you and your kids deserve this! Your teen doesn’t need you to solve all their problems—they need you to trust that they can. It’s tough to step back when every fiber of your being wants to protect them, guide them, and give them the answers. But here’s the hard truth: when we constantly step in, we unintentionally teach our teens to doubt themselves. By giving them the space to figure things out, we show them that they’re capable of meeting their own needs and wants. It’s not about abandoning them—it’s about empowering them. Letting go a little doesn’t mean you’re letting them fail. It means you’re helping them grow. ✨ Share this with a parent who needs this reminder today! #TeenParenting #ParentingTeens #GentleParenting #ParentingTips #TeenIndependence #ParentingTweens #TeenEmpowerment #ParentingSupport #ConsciousParenting #ParentingWisdom #ParentingJourney #ModernParenting #PositiveParenting #RespectfulParenting #RaisingTeens #ParentingRealTalk #fyp #foryoupage

The most American thing we can do is to speak up and raise awareness. 🤍 To not let our voices be silenced. We love our country and that’s why we speak up. We speak up for you, we speak up for our children, and we speak up for our future. 🤍 Did you know that the U.S. had an AW ban from 1994 - 2004? This shows that it CAN be done - It was passed with bipartisan support. Remember, if we’re divided, we are controlled. We were united on this in the past and we can be again. 🤍What can you do RIGHT NOW to make a change? We talked to our friends over at march_fourth about tangible actions we can take to empower ourselves and make a change: 1. Call your senator and ask them to cosponsor s.3369 the GOSAFE Act 2. Call your representative and ask them to ask action to help protect American lives from mass sho… 3. Participate with organizations like march_fourth @our_aftermath_ @everytown 4. Your teen doesn’t have to agree with your boundary for it to work—they just have to experience it. One of the biggest mistakes parents make when setting boundaries? Trying to convince their teen to understand or approve of them. But here’s the truth: boundaries aren’t about getting your teen to agree. They’re about holding your limits with clarity and consistency. It’s not the explanation that teaches them—it’s the actual experience of the boundary itself. ✔️ “I need quiet after 10 PM because I have work early.” (And then you don’t engage in arguments after 10 PM.) ✔️ “I’m not okay with being yelled at, so I’m stepping away.” (And then you actually leave the room.) ✔️ “I won’t be paying for that, because that’s outside my budget.” (And then you don’t pay.) Your teen may push back, but that doesn’t mean the boundary isn’t working. The lesson is in the living of it, not the explaining of it. ✨ Share this with a parent who needs this reminder! #ParentingTeens #TeenBoundaries #RespectfulParenting #ParentingTips #ConsciousParenting #TeenIndependence #ParentingWisdom #ParentingRealTalk #ParentingSupport #ModernParenting #RaisingTeens #TeenParenting #ParentingTweens #GentleDiscipline #PositiveParenting #fyp #foryoupage
Protecting our kids start with awareness. Predators often look for vulnerabilities, and the dynamic between a child and their father can sometimes influence their choice of target. For example, absent, uninvolved, or overly authoritarian father figures may inadvertently leave gaps in a child's sense of security or boundaries, making them more vulnerable. 💡 Building strong, healthy relationships with your kids is one of the best ways to shield them. Open communication, consistent involvement, and creating a safe, trusting environment go a long way in helping children feel protected and confident to speak up if something feels off. ❤️ It takes a village to raise safe and secure kids. Is your little one currently struggling with nighttime potty training? You’re not alone! 👋🏼 Hi, I’m Amanda, a pediatric occupational therapist specializing in early intervention and pelvic floor therapy. I help families navigate potty training and nighttime dryness with confidence! Here’s what you need to know about helping your child wake up dry and confident:  🌟 Nighttime dryness takes time. It’s a developmental process, not something kids can “learn” overnight. Be patient and give their body time. More often than not, your child will develop night time dryness AFTER they are successful with day time dryness.  🚽Support your child. Accidents aren’t their fault, so keep the process positive, encouraging, and shame-free. 🩲 Use the right tools. I recommend Ninjamas nighttime training underwear—they’re up to 100% leak-proof and designed to help kids wake up dry and confident. Nighttime potty training doesn’t have to feel overwhelming. With the right mindset, support, and products, you and your child can make it through this stage with less stress and more ease. Questions? Did you just have a baby? This information is about to ruin your day… 🤍Isn’t it wild that some formula companies are actively campaigning against paid family leave? 🤍The U.S. is one of only a handful of countries that has no federal paid leave policy. Why does paid leave matter? Besides of these very important reasons: - Allows you to bond with baby - increases the GDP 💰 - Improves labor force participation - Improves employee retention - Improved maternal and infant health - More breastfeeding support 🤍 Next time you see congressman saying paid leave will cost too much or it’s bad for the economy…Maybe you should ask them if they’re paid by the formula companies to say that. Always follow the money* 🤍Vote. Get involved. Make your voice heard. Does this sound familiar? You’re overstimulated, endlessly scrolling to escape the chaos of motherhood. The kids are pulling you in every direction, the house looks like a disaster zone, and you’re barely keeping it together. That was me. I laughed it off, called myself a ‘hot mess mom,’ and convinced myself that’s just how life with three kids was supposed to be. But deep down, I knew the yelling, frustration, and overwhelm weren’t helping anyone—least of all my kids. One day, I realized: the scrolling, the chaos, the anger—it wasn’t funny anymore. I had to make a change. Now, I’ve become the calm, confident mom I always wanted to be. I can handle the chaos without losing it, and for the first time, I’m actually enjoying motherhood. If you’re ready to stop yelling, break the cycle of yelling and reactive anger, take back control of your emotions, and enjoy being with your kids check out 🔗 in my profile for resources You can break the cycle and create a calm, connected home. #MomLife #NoYelling #CalmParenting #ParentingSupport #OverwhelmedMom #BreakingGenerationalTrauma #PatienceOnEmpty #MomHumor #NoYellParenting”

Stepping out of your comfort zone can feel overwhelming – even when you know it’s for the best. When my son was nervous about studying abroad in Italy, we sat down together and worked through his fears. ➡️ We listed his worries. ➡️ We wrote down exciting possibilities. ➡️ We revisited tools he already had – meditation, journaling, and gratitude. Sometimes, the tools we need are already within us – we just need a little reminder to use them.
