all jokes aside- maturing is realizing there is rarely such thing as a balanced, healthy, or realistic what i eat in a day video. the entire reason i stopped posting them was because i unfortunately became aware of how slippery of a slope it was to make my entire day about filming my food. (not just for me but for my audience !!) there is little to no way of doing that in a “normal” way without overthinking what you’re consuming and posting. obviously there are exceptions to this but 99.9% of them are controlled and posed videos. yes even the ones i was posting because yes it’s easy to be blind to things that are so normalized !! this is why i’ve been trying to focus on posting my recipes and lunch prep ideas instead. also this is in NO way me hating on people who post wieiad videos and are actually trying to be balanced about it, im just saying it’s a pretty difficult line to walk. anywayyyy thanks for coming to my ted talk :) ͙⁺˚*・༓☾ • •
