Vlog #164 when I had the idea to take the kids for the summer he wasn’t too happy at first so I decided to offer him the option to come meet us in Bali for a week and take the kids to a different part of the island so he could spend some time with them. It’s the first time we’ve done anything like since we’ve been divorced (going on 6 years now). It’s always been very very difficult dealing with their dad but for the first time it was easy and the kids were so happy we could figure it out without any conflicts or difficult situations. I didn’t do much filming with the kids while we were all hanging out but we did go snorkeling and watched inside out 2 at a Bali theater! Sometimes I get comments that ask “why do record your moments?” Or “you don’t have to record and show everyone”. So wanted to share just some of the reasons I chose to share. There are three main reasons: The number one reason is representation, and I know it’s needed in our community simply by all of the comments that speak to how surprising or refreshing it is to see a man doing whatever it takes to love and take care of his kids.
