before I upload, i just want to say I’m no pro! I thought it could be helpful for me to upload a step by step process for any cosplayers who are struggling to find the same tips I found. Im not perfect and I still have a lot to learn, but I hope this video can be helpful to you! In the future, I hope to glue a hairline on and fix up some of the cut parts so it’s even neater 🤭 if you have any other cosplay tips make sure to leave them in the comments to help out other cosplayers <3

It’s important to remember that the spray shouldn’t be used to shape but rather to keep the shape in place! The heat (whether that be a straightener or steamer) should do all the actual styling. - when you’re crimping, at least from what I’ve noticed, make sure to not hold it down for too long, if the heat is high enough you really don’t need to spend too much time. Obviously it also depends on how much volume you need, but I typically only hold it down for a few seconds and then brush it out. - if you’re going to do wig spikes, make sure to tease it & set with hair spray so it has proper volume. Brush it out, and then shape with a steamer. To get that pointed end, your haircutting technique is important (avoid blunt cuts) and also, if you roll the ends of the wig strands in your fingers, it’ll be more pointed Annddd a spelling error.. I meant thinning shears not sheets 😭😭
