There’s no doubt that Ghana is home to the some of the best dishes across Africa🇬🇭🥘. My personal favorite is the universal Chicken Stew which is a must have in every Ghanaian home! Here’s how to make Ghanaian Chicken Stew in less than 30 minutes: Ingredients - 6 Garlic Cloves - 2 Bell Pepper: Red, orange or Green - 6 Tomatoes On the vine; Or 2 can 14.5 oz. diced tomatoes, drained - 1 Cup Canola Oil - 6 Oz. Tomato Paste - 1 Cup Water - 1 Tbsp. Ginger Powder - 2 ½ Tsp. Curry Powder - Chicken Legs/Thighs - 1 Tsp. Salt Steps: 1. Cut the onions, tomatoes and bell peppers and blend them until smooth using a blender. 2. Add oil into a large stock pot and add tomato mixture once medium heated. 3. Add seasoning (salt, curry powder, chilli powder, magi, ginger etc), stir well, and cook for an additional 20 minutes. 4. Mix seasoning for chicken (black pepper, paprika, salt, onion powder, garlic powder etc) into chicken bowl. 5. Set air fryer heat to 385 and pre heat. Cook chicken for about 20 minutes, flipping over at the halfway mark. 6. Add fried chicken into stew and cook for an additional 7 minutes. Voila! In 6 easy steps, your tasty Ghanaian Chicken Stew is ready to go with basically anything from the likes of rice, pasta, banku or even Jollof.
