Have you ever aged clay pots? 🌸 The best way to age clay pots is to use them year after year after year. ⏰ They will just keep looking better and better. 💕 But limewashing will age them in a jiffy! It’s actually super easy 👏 and a great craft to do with your kids or grandkids because there’s no way to mess it up. 🥳 Sometimes I like to sand off more than I did in this reel to let more of the clay pot show through. 💛 You can get super particular with how you want it to look but honestly, it will look great no matter how you do it 🙌 so this is a great exercise in drop kicking perfectionism. 🥰 I like to seal the outside of the clay pot as well as the inside. 💕 I’ve found if I don’t seal the inside, the water will affect how it looks…and not always for the better.
