How to steam idlis in an instant pot ?  We do not own a idli steamer or pressure cooker and use instant pot to steam idlis instead. They turn out just perfect every time. The steaming lid helps the steam to escape and the Idli stand fits in perfectly well. How to make perfectly cooked Basmati rice in an Instant pot ? We talked about the basics and all the essential tools I use with instant pot and today let’s put it to practice using this video and learn to cook simple Basmati rice. The most important thing is the ratio of rice to water which has to be 1:1. It does not have to be exact but close and time that I have tried and tested is 7 minutes. Make sure you let it naturally release the pressure.  What happens if you add more or less water ?  The rice will turn out overcooked or undercooked  What happens if you do less or more time? Experts have tested as low is 3 minutes and max of 30 minutes. If it is in the window they will turn out perfect but nothing beyond that window.  What about delayed timer ? You can use same time and measurements for delayed time, they turn out just perfect even if it’s 8 hours delayed. What about other rice ? Before you eat Lettuce 🥬 Check this Out 👀 I have been buying lettuces 🥬 for years but since past 1 year I have been finding way too many dead or live bugs. I have also found them in washed lettuce at times and they are also infested with E. coli. Be extremely careful and quadruple wash them. Non Fried Healthy Methi snack  For such exciting content Follow @vspiceroute  Methi is in season right now and if you are looking for ideas to use them then this traditional Gujarati snack is a must try. I have tried and tested this recipe so many times and love how they turn out. Add these to undhiyu or any other vegetable. It’s a winter staple.  This snack is made with chickpea flour, fenugreek leaves and other ingredients. Leftover Muthiyas are added to vegetables to add flavor and thickness.  The steamed version can be made using same recipe. It is healthier as there is less use of oil. If you want them to last for longer then the fried version is better. You can choose to deep fry them but I liked how they turned out in Air Fryer.
