zone2running hashtag performance

#Zone2Running is about slow, steady cardio. It promotes heart rate-based training, improving endurance, fat burning, and recovery. Users share data, tips, and progress, optimizing athletic performance.
Confession: I don’t really like training strictly by heart rate. It is still a metric I pay attention to - but I don’t let it exclusively guide my training anymore. Running is about consistency - the “magic” of zone 2 training doesn’t change this fact. Running by feel for me is a whole lot more enjoyable than by heart rate, and makes consistency all the more likely. So that’s what I do now. And for the vast majority of beginner runners - it’s what I recommend. What are your experiences with zone 2? #zone2running
I tried the HR based training several times over the years for months at a time and it was such a slow progress compared to what I do now. After all—it’s all about focusing on the right effort for whatever workout/run you are doing that day. Effort based training consistently keeps me in the proper zones and has helped me improve my performance faster. It does take a while to learn what each zone should FEEL like 👉🏼 easy should feel easy, and hard should feel hard BUT there are different levels of hard when it comes to marathon training (threshold/tempo, race pace, interval, etc.), so you just gotta learn what those should feel like for YOU 💯 Anyone else steer clear from checking their HR during runs? #heartratetraining #zone2running #runningtips #marathontraining #runnergirl #heartratezones #runfast #FitTok #runtiktok #runningstreak #runningwoman #halfmarathontraining
Count how many times I said zone 2 or let’s go 😂 #zone2running #halfmarathontraining #Running
