I have been in the hospital since 01.08.25 & tomorrow 01.15.25 (Wednesday) I will be having a procedure to have a stent removed that has dislodged from my bile duct. Doctors where hoping that it would have come out by itself but since it hasn't they're going in to take it out. Positive thoughts are appreciated. Thank you... Hey everyone, this update I have been dreading to make. Unfortunately, there is no way around it. I have given this colorectal cancer hell however I have come to a point that nothing else can be done and I have to make the hard decision about going into hospice. The pain is at the point that its unbearable & the complications of the cancer is causing havic on my body. My body has stopped thriving & basically the only thing keeping me alive is the TPN. My body is just beyond exhausted & the only thing that is left is hospice. I'm not quitting however there is nothing else that can be done & hospice can better manage the severe & non-stop unbearable pain. I WANT TO THANK EACH AND EVERYONE OF YOU FOR YOUR KIDNESS, LOVE, PRAYERS & SUPPORT. PLEASE REMEMBER ME WITH A SMILE ON MY FACE, LIVING LIFE TO THE BEST AND DANCING. UPDATE.. The procedure I had on 01.15 unfortunately was not able to fix the stent that has dislodged from my bile duct. Doctors are going to give the stent a week to flush itself out, then do another CTScan. If the stent is still stuck in the few intestines I have left then I am looking at another major surgery. It's not right, but it's ok I will overcome this hurdle just like I do with everything thrown in my face... I HAVE ALSO FOUND OUT THAT I HAVE HARDENING OF THE AORTA WHICH IS THE MAIN ARTERY. If it's not one thing it's another. Doctors & palliative nurse have stated to me this battle with cancer will eventually take me out. Being on feeding TPN is simply extending my life and I can see and feel the changes. I am not getting better, I have lost all my fat in my body, muscles are just about non existent. I am simply skin & bones, I don't even recognize myself anymore. At time I can barely walk. Just to get and go to the restroom I have to rest cause walking takes my breath away. I have come to terms of what is going on, I just never thought I would go out this way. I am saying all this to prepare friend for what is eventually going to happen.
