Just a guju girl who loves her dhokla 🧽🫡 seriously my favorite high protein meal and I could eat this for breakfast, lunch, or dinner.  Batter Ingredients:  -1/3 cup moong daal  -1/3 cup Chana dal  -4 cups water (to soak) -1/3 cup plain yogurt  -1 tablespoon garlic + ginger paste -1 or 2 green chilis (depending on how spicy you like it)  -1 tablespoon baking soda  -1 tablespoon turmeric  -1 tablespoon red chili powder -2 teaspoons salt  -2 tablespoons of cilantro  -1/3 cup water in batter Tarka Ingredients: -Oil of choice  -2 teaspoons mustard seeds -2 teaspoons mung daal -1 teaspoon asafetida  Daal Dhokla Recipe:  1. In a bowl, soak the moong dal and chana dal for 6-7 hours. 2. Drain the water and blend the soaked dal until smooth and creamy. 3. Transfer the dal batter to a bowl and add yogurt, ginger, garlic, green chilies, asafetida, baking soda, turmeric, red chili powder, cilantro, salt, and water. Mix thoroughly and set aside. 4. Grease a tray with oil and pour in the batter. Sprinkle a little extra red chili powder on top. 5. Place the tray in a steamer and steam for 15-20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. 6. For the tempering (tarka), heat oil in a pan and add mustard seeds, moong dal, and asafetida. Once fragrant, pour the tempering over the steamed dhokra. 7.
