On days when I know I’m going out for dinner and will most likely indulge a little 🥹I prefer to go lighter on food during the day. It’s not about starving yourself….it’s about eating just enough without feeling heavy or uncomfortable before a big meal. As I always say, not every day should look the same. This is just what works for me on days like these, and I adjust things accordingly.❗️ For a long time, I believed that to stay in shape, you needed to have a “light dinner” or skip dinner entirely. The reality is, you can absolutely enjoy a satisfying dinner! Your body doesn’t care what time of day you eat—it’s more about your overall caloric intake (which I personally don’t count but approach intuitively) and staying active of course is important Remember, balance is key, and everyone’s body and preferences are different. No gym? Adapt to the space you’re staying at and do bodyweight workouts! 2️⃣Prioritize high protein in every meal: -Protein is key for staying full and maintaining muscle. Prioritizing it in each meal helps you avoid crashes and stay on track! I try to aim for 40-50g of protein each meal, or(looking at my hands/2 palm sizes of protein each meal) 3️⃣ plan active adventures: -Instead of lounging all day, I make it a point to get moving. Like a walk on the beach, a hike, or even exploring the city I’m at on foot. It’s an easy way to burn calories and create memories!  4️⃣ Hydrate/don’t over consume liquid calories: -It’s easy to forget to drink enough water while traveling. I like to start the morning off with a glass and keep a bottle handy that I refill throughout the day, while limiting sugary drinks to avoid any unnecessary extra calories. 5️⃣Plan healthy snacks ahead of time: -Traveling in general can be tiring and can tempt you to result in eating junk food on the go.
