Replying to @Marvin I had a hip arthroscopy in June 2023. A lot of you have been asking how quick I got back to exercising, so here it is! As a disclaimer, it’s important to be realistic about your recovery. For this surgery, it took a long time, and I am still healing. I also had years of prior lifting knowledge and muscle strength to aid in all of this, so please only look at this as a case scenario. ✨PT phase: - June 8th I had surgery - Biking by day 2 - Tried upper body light exercises seated June 19 - July 9 - quad extension, still ok on crutches, could put light weight on my surgery leg - July 18 start walking with 1 crutch, weight bearing PT exercises ✨PT & independent exercise: - Aug 5 abduction exercises, mostly PT, light lifting - Light restricted lifting in August, had some popping when do I my some movements - interval running program started Oct 19 - Some running Dec 6, mostly lifting and getting stronger
