We recently had the pleasure of dining at Spice House Duluth, a Caribbean-inspired restaurant that brings the vibrant flavors of the islands to Georgia. Our culinary journey included: • 🍛Diri Djondjon (Black Rice): A traditional Haitian mushroom rice, rich in flavor and unique in its dark hue. • 🐟Red Snapper: Fresh and perfectly seasoned, served with pikliz (spicy Haitian coleslaw) that added a delightful kick. • 🥪Cuban Sandwich: A delightful blend of roasted pork, ham, cheese, pickles, and mustard pressed to perfection, accompanied by crispy fried plantains. • 🦀Caribbean Crab Cake: Succulent crab meat combined with island spices, served with a side of sweet corn and a fresh salad, offering a taste of the tropics. • 🍗Jerk Chicken Sandwich: Juicy chicken marinated in authentic jerk seasoning, delivering a spicy kick, complemented by a side of sautéed cabbage on a bun. • 🐔 Roasted Chicken: A dish featuring tender roasted chicken marinated in a rich blend of spices, offering a harmonious balance of flavors. • 🧇Waffles: Light and fluffy, served as a sweet complement to the savory dishes. • 🍞 French Toast: Thick slices, perfectly golden and crispy on the outside, yet soft and fluffy inside with strawberries and blueberries-a delightful treat to end our meal. To accompany our meal, we indulged in their signature Rum Punch, a delicious concoction featuring a blend of seven different rums that perfectly encapsulated the Caribbean spirit. Each dish was a testament to Spice House Duluth’s commitment to delivering authentic Caribbean cuisine in a casual elegance atmosphere. If you’re in the Duluth area and craving a taste of the islands, Spice House Duluth is a must-visit.
