Thyroid support biohack 🦋 profile 🔗 for 45 percent off the portable red light I use over my thyroid. Very preliminary studies suggest that #redlighttherapy may be beneficial in the following ways for the thyroid: ✨Supporting mitochondria (energy factories of the cell) ✨ Improve circulation to the thyroid gland ✨Counter damaging inflammatory reactive oxygen species (ROS) ✨ Increase anti-inflammatory signaling molecules ✨ Supporting thyroid function ✨ Improving thyroid biomarkers In one study, after just 10 sessions of LLLT, almost half of subjects no longer required thyroid hormone replacement (note: informational/educational purposes only; never ever discontinue your #thyroid replacement without your physician’s approval). The average dosage of levothyroxine, in fact, required by the placebo group that went without treatment was significantly higher than that of the treatment group. In my own experience with over 17 years of having #hashimotosthyroiditis using red light therapy for the last 10—along with all the nutrition, biohacking, and healthy lifestyle interventions I discuss here—has been incredibly helpful for decreasing my own TPO by over 2000+ points. When I’ve gone through a thyroid flare, as I did recently, I ramp up how often I use RLT. RLT is a higher level holistic health intervention—and should not be the only resort here (nothing every occurs in a vacuum) First, go after low hanging fruit including circadian rhythm regulation, sleep hygiene, restorative movement, stress management, a nourishing nutrient dense, oligoantigenic gluten free diet, toxin avoidance, digestive support, addressing trauma, stealth infections, mold toxicity, nervous system regulation, & other lifestyle approaches. ‼️ If you choose to use RLT for this purpose (with your functional medicine doctor’s approval)... PLEASE make sure you are getting regular comprehensive thyroid panels to check thyroid status, as with potential improvement in thyroid function, your doctor may have to titrate your thyroid replacement dose down. When my thyroid function has improved in the past, I’ve become HYPERthyroid and dosed too high on my replacement hormone and had to adjust dose downward accordingly so work with your doctor on that 🙏🏼 Not medical advice. This/these claims has/have not been evaluated by the food & drug administration. This product is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease. #hypothyroidism #hypothyroid #thyroidproblems #thyroidhealing #thyroidhealth #hashimotosthyroiditis #hashimotosthyroiditis #autoimmune #autoimmunewarrior #autoimmunity #weightloss #redlight #redlighttherapy #skinhealth #naturalwellness #holistichealing

If your throat feels like it’s being squeezed when someone hurts your feelings or even after what you ate for lunch… That’s not just stress or bad digestion—it’s a big, flashing neon sign from your body screaming, “Hashimoto’s.” For YEARS, I thought feeling like I was being choked by my own body was just normal. I chalked it up to stress, anxiety, or “something I ate.” Meanwhile, my immune system was silently waging war on my thyroid. Doctors told me my labs were “fine.” I believed them, until I learned that my “normal” was anything but. Fast forward to working with a functional nutritionist: I uncovered my triggers, healed my gut, and supported my thyroid the RIGHT way. Now? No more throat pressure, no more guessing games. If this sounds like you, stop waiting for someone to take your symptoms seriously—because I WILL. Let’s figure out the root cause together. Your throat—and your sanity—deserve it. Learn more and apply on my page to start 🥰 #hashimotos #hypothyroid #thyroid #hypothyroidism #thyroidhealth#onthisday

Why is it so hard to lose weight with hypothyroidism? Is it even possible? Where do we start? #Thyroidcoachdanielle #Hypothyroid #Hypothyroidism #Hashimoto #Hashimotos #hashimotosthyroiditis #Hashimotosdisease #Thyroid #Thyroidproblems #Thyroidhealth #weightloss
Using a scale is one of the biggest mistakes you can make as a thyroid patient trying to lose weight. Why? Because it doesn't accurately tell you how much fat you are losing or how much muscle you are gaining. And, for thyroid patients, this is a big problem because you should be trying to preserve muscle mass when you lose weight. How can you accurately measure fat loss? By using these metrics: 1. Body measurements. Because muscle mass is more dense than fat, even if you lose 5 pounds of fat and gain 5 pounds of muscle, your body will start to shrink (even though the scale will stay the same). 2. Weekly progress pictures (and a mirror). If you are losing weight while preserving muscle, your body will not only look slimmer, you will look healthier! When you are losing both muscle mass and fat mass simultaneously, you may take on a sickly-looking appearance. 3. Caliper testing. Caliper testing gives you an idea of how much fat is on your body but testing your skin thickness. 4. Weekly average (using a scale). If you want to use the scale, make sure to measure it daily and then take the average over the course of a week. This will give you a more accurate reading because it smooths out the day-to-day fluctuations from food volume, constipation, and water retention. January is THYROID AWARENESS MONTH THYROID GOITER STOP AND PAY ATTENTION! Check your neck right now !! You may have a thyroid goiter, which can indicate thyroid cancer or inflammation of the thyroid gland. I can't tell you out of my 20+ years of practicing how many THYROID CANCERS I have found in YOUNG PEOPLE ages 18 & up‼️ DON'T just assume you have a "fat neck". It could be something growing on your thyroid gland. HYPOTHYROIDISM: Hypothyroidism means that the thyroid gland can’t make enough thyroid hormone to keep the body running normally. People are hypothyroid if they have too little thyroid hormone in the blood. ___________ HYPERTHYROIDISM: Hyperthyroidism, also called overactive thyroid, is when the thyroid gland makes more thyroid hormones than your body needs. The thyroid is a small, butterfly-shaped gland in the front of your neck. Just so you don't misdiagnosis yourself, seek help from your healthcare professional for review. Some people get "hot flashes" and assume it's menopause or low blood. Don't guess, get checked! #hypothyroid #hyperthyroidism #Hypothyroidism #symptoms #lowblood #thyroid #thyroidhealth FOR MORE INFORMATION and to schedule an appointment, click here: www.drkatinahealthandwellness.com

What else do you think affects your thyroid health/hypothyrodism? 😮 #thyroid #thyroidhealth #hypothyroidism #hashimotos #hypothyroid #thyroidproblems
Have you ever wondered why you don't hear much about thyroid hormone cream? Why is it that all other hormones exist in cream form including progesterone, testosterone, and estrogen? There really isn't a good reason because the truth is, thyroid hormone cream is probably the single best way to take thyroid medication. It just so happens that not all thyroid hormones are available in cream form... at least not yet. Here are 5 reasons that thyroid hormone creams beat out capsules and tablets: 1. Topical benefits where they are applied. Some studies suggest that topical thyroid hormone application may help regrow hair and help with wound healing. 2. More freedom in when and how you take it. If you take thyroid hormone in cream form then it can be taken at any time of the day and with any type of food. 3. Better bioavailability and absorption. Creams are roughly 2 to 2.5x stronger than oral versions of the exact same hormone. 4. Fewer side effects. Lower doses required mean fewer symptoms, especially heart palpitations. 5. Better symptom control. If your thyroid hormone is more effective then it will result in better symptom control. Right now, the only thyroid hormone available in cream form is T2 Cream which can be found here: https://www.restartmed.com/product/t2-cream/ But if we can show the pharmaceutical companies that there is interest in thyroid hormone creams more generally, then they will be more likely to start creating T4 and T3 creams. #thyroid #hypothyroid #lowthyroid #hypothyroidism
