Long story short, I started taking a medication for diabetes 6ish months ago. A ton of research shows that ozempic can be beneficial for those with autoimmune diseases, and tons of doctors/nutritionists stand behind it. I have thyroid disease and my old meds werenā€™t working well, resulting in a MISERABLE and PAINFUL couple of years. This took a toll on my mental health and really affected my family. I want to be clear that I DID NOT start ozempic for weight loss, but that is obviously a major side effect. Some people have been really negative (someone in my messages just said I have horrible ozempic face) so I want to make it known that I take this medicine because of what itā€™s done/doing for my health. If it makes me ugly and gives me a horrible face, then thatā€™s something Iā€™ll live with if it helps my insides. For those that have been kind, thank you so much.
