Sucking your belly in to make yourself look thinner is doing you more harm than good We need to consider that we are forcing our bodies into a position and shape we are not meant to fit. This isn’t going to go without some consequences. There is no free lunch. If you are sucking the contents of your abdomen in at all times, that stuff has to go somewhere. It’s not going to evaporate into thin air. So we will be creating an environment where we are pushing those contents in, back, and down into our abdomen. This can put unneeded pressure on places we don’t (like our pelvic floor) and stress on organs and muscles (our intestines and diaphragm). Also, I’m sure you are beautiful just the way you are. Managing stress and tension while realigning the pelvis and ribcage is what’s also required.
