Tip Thursday—Adapt exercises to fit your needs so that you stay consistent and keep fitness fun for yourself!!💪🏼💕 This is how I modify a single arm kettlebell swing to make it work for us wheelchair users ♿️ 💫Start by holding a dumbbell in one hand outside of your wheel, and hold onto your opposite wheel with your arm that isn’t working.  💫Engage your core—feel like you are sucking your belly button in even if you can’t feel it.  💫Drive the dumbbell up and slightly in towards the midline of your body, then let it fall back down past your hips, letting your body lean slightly forward. 💫Use the momentum from the dumbbell and your lean, continuing the movement until you hit your target reps, then switch sides!
