We tried ❤️😞 That’s all we can ask for. The staff tried, daddy and Beau tried, but ultimately it was too much for him. We wanted answers sooner for his sake but unfortunately now we have to wait until at least February 24th to have a sedated MRI and answers. The reason for the wait is because he had pneumonia and anesthesia will not put someone under until 6 weeks after pneumonia - that’s their protocol for safety reasons. I’m proud of Beau for trying. Andy and I prepared him the best we could. For him to lay still for 20 minutes, or bursts during those 20 minutes, seems unlikely but we have to try - for his sake. We have to find out exactly what is wrong with his knee so we can work to fix it. Because of his recent pneumonia, anesthesia won’t sedate him for 6 weeks so a sedated MRI can’t happen until close to the end of February. I created a social story for him and we’ve been reading it.
