In May 2023 I fell while rollerskating, dislocated and broke my ankle in 3 places (trimalleolar). I had surgery (ORIF) and It took me two months to be able to stand on both feet and start walking. It took me 6 months to feel confident enough to start skating again. This injury taught me a lot of things such as asking for help, allowing my body to heal at its own pace, to advocate for myself and more.
