Chicken and Potato Curry π₯ Recipe: 2 tbsp ghee 2 tbsp Ginger/garlic paste 1 large onion 2 tomatoes 4 green chilies 1/2 tbsp salt 2 tbsp red chili 1 tbsp cumin 2 tbsp curry powder 2 tsp turmeric 1/2 cup water 1 whole chicken (cut in small pieces) 4 potatoes 1 cup water Cilantro Directions: In a pot add in ghee and ginger garlic paste, let the ginger garlic paste golden up for about 5 minutes and then add in your onions, tomatoes, and green chilies along with salt. Let your onions cook for 15 minutes on medium heat until soft and translucent, next add in all your spices and some water so the spices do not burn.. cook the spices with onions for 5 minutes until fragrant and then add in the chicken. Let the chicken cook for 15 minutes until it releases its own water and then add in the potatoes. Let the chicken curry cook for 30 minutes on medium high heat and then add in 1 cup of water or more if you look more jhol/zool, garnish the curry with some cilantro and cook it on low heat for another 10 minutes! Enjoy with rice or roti.
