Content Creating while Black! The facts are the facts, you can attempt to gaslight Black creators but we know and the data shows the algorithm have a bias because the people who created them possess that bias. You can even try to tell me I’ve done well… I DESERVE more! I consistently outperform the mediocrity that goes viral and I watch those same people steal from me (it’s always a piss poor imitation). I work harder for less and it’s wrong! If a Black person does not present in a way (code word: RELATABLE) in which people are comfortable with seeing Black people, you will be suppressed and if you are a Black person that is not uplifting the representation you want to see by engaging, liking and sharing you 🫵🏽 also contribute to the fools you make famous, then get upset when they turn on you. #tiktokpartner #blackfoodculture #bakingfortheculture #blackexcellence #recipes #baking #blackhistorymonth #bias
It’s Black History Month, and I’m honoring our legacy in the kitchen by sharing a dish that’s been passed down for generations—braised turkey necks. Back in the day, Black people were given the “undesirable” cuts of meat—scraps that others saw as waste. But through skill, seasoning, and patience, we turned those cuts into soul food staples. Turkey necks, oxtails, chitlins, and more—what was once considered “trash meat” is now a delicacy with premium price tags. This dish is a reminder of our resilience and creativity. With just a few ingredients and slow braising, you get a meal so rich and flavorful that it feeds the soul and the family—on a budget. Drop a 🖤 if you grew up eating turkey necks or if you’d love to try my recipe. Love ya’ll 😘 #FoodHistory #BlackFoodCulture #BlackHistoryMonth #BlackExcellence #SoulFood #SouthernCooking #BlackHistory #BlackTikTok #BraisedTurkeyNecks #BudgetMeals #CookWithMe #FYP #Foodie #HistoryThroughFood
