Cajun Creamy Steak & Shrimp Alfredo Ingredients - 2 New York strips steak - Seasonings (Old bay , Slap ya mama, Cayenne pepper, Garlic powder, onion powder, chipotle chili pepper, creole) - Garlic herb butter - Colossal Shrimp - Penne noodles - Heavy cream - Boursin cheese - Colby jack (Optional) Steak - Seasonings steak both sides (Old bay , Slap ya mama, Cayenne pepper, Garlic powder, onion powder, chipotle chili pepper, creole) start off with 1 teaspoon of each if you are not comfortable eyeballing - To your cast iron skillet at 1 tablespoon olive oil just to ensure steak will not stick - Allow skillet to get hot - Place steak in skillet - Sear each side 3-4 mins - After you get a nice sear on both sides rotate additional 3-5mins & bast steak with butter (for better results you can bast steak with garlic & herb butter, Garlic cloves, Thyme & rosemary) Also keep in mind each temperature on a steak has a different cook time. - once cooked to desired temperature - Allow steak to rest - Once steak has rest cut into cubes Cajun Shrimp - Peel , Clean , Devine your shrimp - Season (Old bay , Slap ya mama, Cayenne pepper, Creole) - To a pan add 2 tables garlic & herb butter - Add seasoned shrimp - Cook shrimp 5-8 mins or until shrimp color changes & curl up Cajun Alfredo Sauce - to the same skillet you cooked shrimp in add 2 cups of heavy cream - 1 whole block Boursin cheese - 1/2 cup of Colby jack (optional) - 1/2 teaspoon Cayenne pepper - 1/2 teaspoon Chipotle chili pepper - 1/2 teaspoon slap ya mama - 1/2 teaspoon old bay - Mix well until it becomes a sauce consistency - Add noodles - Add steak - Add shrimp - Add 1/3 cup of Colby jack cheese - Allow to simmer for additional 5 mins Enjoy
