I think fire safety at school made Si realize that things would be a little different for him in the case of an emergency. A scary conversation but also very necessary. We also talked about how fire safety at school might look a little different for him as well. We will be moving this year and one of the things we are installing is flashing lights to go along with our fire alarms and door bells. This week we lost our sweet and spunky little boy. He battled influenza a, pneumonia, and meningitis. It was the most terrifying experience of our lives, as we saw him being hit by a freight train that just wasn’t stopping. January 8 we made the decision to stop care, and Christopher passed peacefully with this entire family and extended family at his bedside. The more options we have the better!! @Youth Crews 🫶🏼 We have been double diapering for a long time and it’s the only thing we’ve found to reduce leaks. We also use Sposie pads at night to help. It’s been so frustrating at times! My initial wants/feedback - I’d love to see different levels of absorbency! We also tend to get more leakage at the top/sides with ALL diapers and any design tweaks that would help with that would be awesome in our book! #diapers #youthcrews #yourhdiapers #disabilityparenting #caregiver #medicalmom #medicaldad #medicallycomplex #incontinence

We had packed extra food because their was fair warning about the weather, however the ice came earlier than anticipated and kept us from home for two extra days.
