I know how challenging it is to live with a chronic illness. Dealing with chronic illness can make us feel like weâre walking this path alone. I know that right now youâre trying to put all the pieces of the puzzle together in order to find some relief. But there might be a piece youâre overlooking: community.𧩠It is an integral piece of the healing puzzle. A couple of years ago, I made a full recovery from chronic Lyme disease. Like you, there was a time when I tried everything to feel better. đAntibiotics, IV infusions, synthetic hormones, steroids, anti-inflammatories, coffee enemas, infrared saunas, acupuncture, chiropractic adjustments, massage, rebounding, biomagnetism, infrared light therapy, psychotherapy, breath work, epsom salt baths, paleo & ketogenic diets, intermittent fasting, etc. etc. đWhile we may see positive changes in our health due in part to these treatments and the support they provide our bodies, alone they are not enough to get us back to living a life of possibility and vitality.â đOur subconscious minds have been conditioned to believe that the ability to feel better comes from something external (like a đ). đIt wasnât until I discovered the concept of neuroplasticity and learned to heal the chronic stress response that I finally began to see my symptoms not just improve but DISAPPEAR.âš I realized that if my brain was in this chronic stress response all the time, my body couldnât effectively heal. Part of calming the stress response involved surrounding myself with people who made me feel seen, heard, and loved.đ„° In Vital-Side, we have a community of people who are focused on healing, just like you.
