One of my Childhood Favorite Comforting Meals is Rice Porridge. Simple yet so delicious. Perfect for this Cold ๐Ÿฅถ Weather.  You can make with with your favorite choice of protein and top and garnish this with whatever your Heart Desires.  I enjoy mines topped up with Fried Garlic, Cilantros, Scallions, Black and White Pepper, Chili Powder, Limes, and Hot Chili Oil. Lao: Khao Piak Khao  Chinese: Congee Jook Vietnamese: chรกo  Khmer: Babaw Hmong: Kua Dis Iu Mien: Hnaangx Zuoqv Thai: Khao Thom  Lahu: Aw Beh Neh Filipino: Lugaw | Arroz Caldo  Korean: Dak Juk Recipe:  4 Liter of Water 1 Stalk of Lemon Grass 2-3 pieces of sliced ginger  1-2 Pounds of Chicken Thighs or Choice of Meat 1/4 cup chicken Bouillon  1/4 cup of Fish Sauce 2 Cups of Cooked Jasmine Rice Instructions ๐Ÿ“ 1. In a Pot. Add a Dash of Salt. Bring 3 Liters of water to a Boil.  2. Next add in 1 Stalk of Lemon Grass. I bruised mines and tied into a knot. The bruising will help release its natural flavors. 3. Add 2-3 pieces of sliced ginger  4. Add in your choice of 1-2 Pound of Proteinโ€™s. I used Spare Ribs.  5. Next add in 2 Cups of Cook Jasmine Rice.  - 1/4 cup chicken Bouillon  - 1/4 cup of Fish Sauce  - Let this Cook for 25-30 Mins. 6. Bring heat down to Med High, add in the another 1 Liter of Water as you will notice the Rice Porridge Soup evaporating.  7. Let this continue to cook for another 15-30 mins. In a Pot. Add a Dash of Salt. Bring 3 Liters of water to a Boil. 2. Next add in 1 Stalk of Lemon Grass. I bruised mines and tied into a knot. The bruising will help release its natural flavors. 3. Add 2-3 pieces of sliced ginger 4. Add in your choice of 1-2 Pound of Proteinโ€™s. I used Spare Ribs. 5. Next add in 2 Cups of Cook Jasmine Rice. - 1/4 cup chicken Bouillon - 1/4 cup of Fish Sauce - Let this Cook for 25-30 Mins. 6. Bring heat down to Med High, add in the another 1 Liter of Water as you will notice the Rice Porridge Soup evaporating. 7. Let this continue to cook for another 15-30 mins. One of My Favorite Vietnamese Food. Cravings. Crispy Bรกnh Xรจo ๐Ÿ˜ฎโ€๐Ÿ’จ๐Ÿ”ฅ. Recipe: Instructions ๐Ÿ“ 1 Bag of Banh Xeo Batter. You can find these at Asian Supermarkets. If not use Rice Flour.  1. In a mixing bowl, add your Batter Mix, 8 ounces of Coconut ๐Ÿฅฅ Milk, and 3 1/4 Cup of Cold Water.  2. Add 2 Tbsp of Turmeric, and Chopped Scallions. Whisk & Combine well.  * Let it rest for 20-30 Mins 3. Let your pan get Hot without no oil for a few minutes.  - Bring the Heat down to Medium. Add a tiny bit of oil. - Add your Fillings in the order of (Pork, Sliced Onions ๐Ÿง…, then Shrimp ๐Ÿฆ). 4. Give you Batter a quick Whisk. Ladle in your Batter on to the Pan as shown in Video.  Give it a Swirl to evenly coat your Pan.  * Any empty Spot, carefully pour a little batter to fill it in. Give it another gentle swirl.  5. Add your Bean Sprouts. - Cover with a Lid (2-3 Mins, depending on size of pan and Heat of Stove). 6. Remove Lid, gently drizzle a little around the Crepes (as shown on Video). 7. Using a Spatula. Life, Swirl, and Tilt. Spreading the Sizzling Oil for a Crispy Crepe.  8. Let this Cook, uncovered for a few seconds. Gently Fold. Remove from Pan, and Plate.  Pair this up with some Veggies and Herbs. Eat as a Lettuce ๐Ÿฅฌ Wrap, Spring Roll Wrapper. Dip into Sweet, Sour, and Savory Fish Sauce ( Nฦฐแป›c Chแบฅm ).
