Lots of ways to do cable kickbacks but I personally love this variation. Before anyone asks because I promise someone will…no you don’t need wrist wraps 😆 I was supersetting with rdls 😉 You can definitely hinge more if you prefer but you still want to avoid swinging thru the upper body like one of those drinking birds 😄🥴 all that excessive body english is doing nothing for your glutes. Set the cable to around hip height, this will give you a nice good stretch thru the glutes as you bring your knee up and flex the hip. Step down and extend the hip back, squeezing the glutes. Once the hip is extended fully (which the glutes are responsible for) the movement is done. No need to go any further by swinging your body. I prefer an ankle strap with a heel strap to produce more force but either works. Hope this is helpful. Give this a try and let me know how you liked it 🤙🏻
