Ahhh February, the short month, the month that brings us closer to spring up here in the northeast. The month that finds days gradually getting longer with a little more sunlight every day it’s also the month where we celebrate love and what better way to celebrate. Love them with a sweet treat. . A couple of things to keep in mind.. all of the ingredients in this recipe are plant based, you can use a traditional oven as well , you may just have to play around with the cooking times. This recipe was adapted from a recipe I saw on social media, but during the craziness of this weekend , I lost her page and cannot credit her. 🌱Single Serve Cinnamon roll(high protein)🌱 Ingredients: 1/3 cup self rising flour 1/3 cup plain greek yogurt 1 tablespoon butter , room temperature 1 teaspoon cinnamon 1 tablespoon date syrup 1 tablespoon cream cheese 1 tablespoon milk 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 1 teaspoon super fine sugar In a small bowl, add the yogurt and flour and stir until well combined. Place the dough onto a lightly floured surface. Flatten the dough into a roughly rectangle shape. In another small bowl, whisk together the butter, cinnamon and date syrup In a separate bowl, stir together butter, sugar, and cinnamon. Place the mixture in the dough and spread it evenly . Cut the dough into 4 long strips. Roll each strip , attaching it to the prior roll until one giant roll is formed. Place the roll into a lightly greased ramekin. Air fry at 350° F for about 10-15 minutes until cooked thru While the roll is cooking , make the icing by whisking together the cream cheese, vanilla and sugar Remove the roll from the air fryer and drizzle the icing on top
