You should still strength train when you’re training for a race, but certain things need to be tweaked. First, it’s okay if you can’t fit 3 or 4 days of strength in each week- your priority is on running. Second, decrease your weight to decrease your soreness during your runs. Third- keep attacking areas of weakness. This will help you prevent injuries
