Super Bowl Cheeseburger Sliders! 🍔🏈 I’m telling you guys, this is my new favorite game day recipe (and all of my guests say it’s their’s too lol!) It comes together so quickly and you may already have a lot of these ingredients at home!🏈 Ingredients For the sliders: - 1 yellow onion, halved and thinly slices - 12 pieces American cheese - Olive oil - 1 pound ground beef - 2 tablespoons yellow mustard - 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce - 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder - 1/2 teaspoon salt - 1/4 teaspoon black pepper - 1 (12 ounce) package Hawaiian sweet rolls - Sliced dill pickles - 1 tablespoon melted butter - Sesame seems For the burger sauce: - 1/2 cup mayonnaise - 1/4 cup ketchup - 2 tablespoons sweet pickle relish - 2 tablespoons yellow mustard - Salt and pepper to taste Directions: 1. Preheat oven to 350°F. 2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over high head and add thinly sliced onions and cook until charred in spots— 4 to 6 minutes. Transfer to a plate or bowl. 3. Reduce the heat to medium and add olive oil to skillet. Cook, breaking the beef up into small pieces, until cooked through— about 5 minutes. Add 2 tablespoons yellow mustard, 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce, 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder, 1/2 teaspoon salt, 1/4 teaspoon black pepper. Cook, until deeply browned in spots— about 2 minutes. Remove from heat. 4. Without separating the rolls, cut 1 package Hawaiin rolls in half horizontally. Place the bottom half of the rolls cut-side up in a rimmed baking sheet. 5. Arrange 6 slices American cheese on the bottom half of the rolls in an even layer. Top with the onions in an even layer. Evenly spread beef mixture over the onions. Lay slices pickles on top and remaining 6 slices of American cheese. Place the top half of the rolls cut-side down over the cheese. 6. Brush 1 tablespoon melted butter over the top of the rolls and sprinkle with sesame seeds. Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake in the oven for 10 minutes. Uncover and bake until the cheese is melted and buns are toasted. 7. Place 1/2 cup mayonnaise, 1/4 cup ketchup, 2 tablespoons sweet pickle relish, and 2 tablespoons yellow mustard in a small bowl and mix to combine. Serve with sliders for dipping. Enjoy! #SuperBowl #superbowlfood #superbowlhosting #superbowlrecipe #gamedayfood #gameday #footballfamily #superbowlsnacks #superbowlparty #fyp #trending #gamedayrecipe #gamedaysnacks #gamedayfood
