35+ lbs down here’s how I did it ⬇️ - Mid 2023 I rapidly gained weight from stopping hormonal birth control + PCOS. I was exercising daily, and eating clean but saw NO DIFFERENCE physically. - I made these key changes🔐 - 1. LOW FODMAP DIET PCOS can often times affect irritable bowel syndrome and can inflame your digestive system. - 2. REMOVE STRESSORS It sounds cliche, but stress affects your body so much. Do your best to remove activities, environments, and people that stress you. (You can’t remove them all but even the smallest changes help.) - 3. EXERCISE TYPE I stopped doing high intensity training, and opted for long walks over running, weight training over interval training, and allowed myself breaks in between sets. - 4. CONSISTENCY Following this new lifestyle as many days a week as my body/life allowed. Even if it wasn’t a full workout and just a walk. Sticking to my nutrition plan no matter what. My biggest changes happened when I started showing up for myself everyday💗 -
