Below are a few essentials we have found the most valuable to reach new heights: *Overtime discover your favorite brand, style/material, and the pair needed in your favorite poleography class.  *7inch platforms increase body awareness to comfortably transition from the floor to standing without the use of the pole.  *In this case size can matter; 8inch platforms are the sweetspot for learning dynamic tricks, kips and twizzles as it provides more circumference to pivot on any toe box! *A open-toe heel is compared to a ballerinas  pointe shoes having range of movement in the ankles.   *While a closed-toe boot protects our toes and feet when learning new styles of pole such as exotic, hard style, or shoulder stands.  A well-informed shoe purchase can seriously impact our performance, appearance, and safety on and off of the pole.
