How I make my “healthier” rice!! PURPLE RICE RECIPE 👇  🍚Ingredients (3-4 servings) 1.5 cups white rice (short or med-grain) I used med 2 tbsp black rice (short-grain black glutinous rice) 1.75 cups water  🍚 Instructions Rinse the white rice and black rice together under cold water until the water runs mostly clear. After rinsing, soak the rice mixture in 1.75 cups of water for at least 30 minutes (I do a couple of hours). Cook the Rice: * Rice Cooker: Transfer the rice and soaking water to your rice cooker and cook on the white rice/glutinous rice setting. * Stovetop: Add the rice and soaking water to a pot. Bring it to a boil over medium-high heat, then reduce the heat to low, cover, and simmer for 15–20 minutes. Then turn off stove and let the rice sit with the lid on for 5–10 minutes to finish steaming.
