Brioche Bread 1/2 cup warm milk 2 tablespoons honey 2 tablespoons sugar 1 1/2 teaspoon yeast 3 cups flour 3 eggs room temperature 1/2 cup melted butter 1 teaspoon vanilla 1 egg and teaspoon milk In a bowl or a stand mixer at the warm milk, honey, sugar, yeast and 1/4 cup of flour. Mix that all around until everything‘s combined and cover it up and let it rest on the side for about a 1/2 an hour. When the dough is foamy like it’s ready. In another bowl, add in three eggs, vanilla and the melted butter mix it, then add that to the flour and yeast mixture, finally adding and the rest of the flour. Mix it for about 10 to 15 minutes. It’s fine if the dough is sticky, cover it up and let it rest for at least an hour. After you allowed it to rest, it should’ve doubled in size. Flour the surface and cut these into even sized balls making at least eight of them, put it into a bread pan. Cover it and allow it to rise for a half an hour in a warm area. If it has it rise, allow it to sit for another half an hour to rise more. Preheat the oven to 350°. Check on the dough if it’s ready brush some egg wash on top. Place in the oven for about 35 to 40 minutes if the brown is getting too brown just placed aluminum foil on top of it to allow the dough to bake evenly. If it seems like the dough is not done then keep it in the oven a few minutes longer. Take it out allow it to cool down for a few hours and it’s ready to eat.
