Save this run workout for later!  46 days until the Chattanooga Marathon!  @visitchatt  Today’s Workout  2 mile warm up  .50 miles HARD  .25 miles RECOVERY  X10 1 mile cool down  This run workout challenges speed thresholds by requiring you to consistently hit a tough pace, and it increases your aerobic capacity with short recovery intervals.  800m have been a staple in my training programs, but now we are working to build. 10 reps was challenging, I struggled hard to not take a longer rest at round 7. I was so full by the end. We have a ton of work to do!  I have had very minimal stomach issues during races (Ironman to Ultramarathons) and I think it’s because I take the time to practice/learn/train my body to take in alll the fuel it needs. ⛽️ Today was a great reminder to practice what I will do on race day.  I felt too full by the end.  Could be the effort/I wasn’t burning as many calories as usual. Could be because I’ve lowered my carb intake for 1.5 months as my mileage was lower. Could be a million other things.  Lots of time to practice between now and race day!
