Don’t worry, it doesn’t have to be hard. I have 30+ years of experience in food & nutrition. I’ve worked in hospitals, healthcare centers, colleges and long term care. Food dyes are not our problem. Portions and abundance are. Even though the FDA was pressured to bad Red dye 3, there’s actually no human research to show it causes any harm. 🤔 The portion, or AMOUNT of food you consume that contains colors, dyes, or additives, matters. The dose makes the poison. And it’s highly unlikely that you are consuming enough dye to cause any issue. Choose wholesome foods you enjoy. They don’t have to be organic, or expensive. They can be canned or frozen (like beans, lentils or veggies). They can include some conveniences (like rice pouches or dry pasta).
