Okay I know I am not the only one who has experienced this let me set the mood . . It’s a random Tuesday after 4pm and you get an email that there are new results in your portal you are jolted with excitement because finally the test you have been waiting for have arrived you quickly log into your portal . . And BAM there it is a bunch of scans, numbers, labs and data that you have absolutely no idea how to read, have no fear you then run to google and try to interpret the results only to get conflicting answers . . It’s after hours so you can’t call the office so there you are just sitting there still confused . . Although I write this light heartedly it is an incredibly frustrating situation which most times continues for days, weeks or even months until you have your next appointment and someone can explain to you what the results are . . We deserve better, we deserve answers, we deserve to be spoken to about our results and what their thoughts are as it relates to next steps treatment or rule outs . . It will take all of us standing together to make this change happen.
