⬇️ Have you ever gone to a job interview while you were at work? It’s often hard to find a good time for the interviewer and you so sometimes you have to interview on your lunch break or take a phone interview while you’re at work. This generally works for a first round interview. ➡️Watch this @Anna Papalia for tips on what to wear to a job interview If you go on a job interview while at work here are a few things to consider:    ·       👀Be discreet: Try to schedule the interview during a less busy time and avoid obvious signs that you're on an interview (like changing clothes in the bathroom).  ·       🗣️Communicate with your employer: Ideally, inform your manager that you need to take time, especially if it requires a longer break or a brief absence from your desk.  ·       🧑🏻‍💻Consider the format: If possible, opt for a phone or video interview to minimize disruption at your current workplace.  ·       🧘🏽‍♀️Be mindful of your performance: Ensure that attending the interview does not negatively impact your work responsibilities or productivity at your current job.    📌 Remember if the interview is a second or third round and going to be longer than an hour you should take a half day/PTO so you won’t be worried about getting back to work. ✅ Position yourself for success by giving yourself enough time to research and prepare for your interview.    #jobinterview #interviewprep #interviewtips #whattoweartowork #interviewoutfits #whattowear #howtodres #OOTD #corporateoutfits #professionalwomen #jobinterviewprep

This is why you should ALWAYS know your salary expectations before a job interview (yes, even if the salary range is listed in the job description!) One thing I didn’t mention in this video: Even if it’s not a remote position, the company might be offering a range to account for different levels of experience and having to make competitive offers. I’d rather you take 15 minutes to get intentional about your own needs rather than miss out on thousands of dollars because you told them you’d take anything within a huge range #salarynegotiation #salarynegotiationtips #interviewprep #interviewpreparation #interviewpreptips #jobinterviewprep #jobinterviewpreparation #jobsearch #jobsearchtips
