As an AuDHDer, my brain is filled with all of the most overwhelming feelings and thoughts. During any change, I shut down, I turn in, I go quiet. I struggle to understand my own brain and what it is trying to process. I feel it happening with this TikTok ban.  I’m terrified, and wish I had all the answers of what to do right now. Inside, I just want to run away. That’s my AuDHD. My brain just turns off. 😩 It’s been turned off because it does that when it doesn’t have solid answers. Now that it does, it just wants to hide until everything is over and then rebuild everything from scratch.  But I’ve done too much to get this far and help SO MANY. I have so many plans too - books, workbooks I’ve been working on, guides, pamphlets for drs… but like I said, my brain has been turned off while we’ve been in the time of “unknown”. But I’m going to try and push myself to get on top of everything, push my other platform (YT - @chronicallyemilly — I will be posting on it starting this week!) I have about 2 people I talk to regularly (including my husband). After that, reaching out to people is a HUGE feat for me. And the worse part is, people think this means I don’t care for or love them. When really, everything is just SO overwhelming and communicating takes SUCH a big space in my brain. I just wish I had a way to explain it to everyone who enters my life. It’s been so hard to make friends, keep close with family, keep up relationships. I’ve even missed out on opportunities. I’ll take advice but I’m also understanding that this could just be harder because life is harder right now.
