Hydration is super important. Especially if you’re walking as much as I did. I think I got up walking almost 7-8 miles per day. And 3 miles of that was very vigorous cardio. You can’t just hydrate with regular water, your body needs the perfect mixture of sodium, potassium and magnesium. And I left heavy in the gym so I needed a little extra for my hard workouts. It’s not cheap but for health it’s definitely worth it. I was drinking the @GHOST LIFESTYLE Welch’s Grape 🍇  religiously every day. And I loved to drink it extremely brutally cold so I would put in my @YETI 46 ounce Rambler with very little ice and it would stay extremely chilled for hours everyday. Did you know that you can cheat within your calories and still lose weight?!  Let’s say you have a function you’re going to and you want to eat and drink socially. You can wholeheartedly eat all your calories in Junk and greasy foods and still lose weight. You can even go and weight train and add how many calories you burnt from your cardio into the equation also. So for me my daily calorie limit was 2000 per day and I would burn an extra 2000+ calories that day from working out and cardio. So that means that I could eat a little over 4,000+ of calories that day and not have to worry about gaining a pound of fat. Yes the scale would go up the next day due to water retention but none of it would be fat gain. But I would only use this on specific occasions. I tried to keep those day few and far in between because 🥷 like I said…I had goals to hit. Let’s talk about Cheat Days! I love cheat days ❤️😂 but I know I couldnt have them often, especially in a diet phase because the water retention from all the salt and carbs had on that day can mask my weight loss for up to a week. Meaning, your body could still be burning fat and you could be losing weight but you just can’t tell because your so bloated with all the extra water. And that could be a complete mind F*ck if you don’t know what’s going on with your body after a cheat day. So if you have a cheat day, enjoy it. Still hit your cardio on the days your supposed to and still do your weight training and allow your body to recover naturally from it. And you’ll be surprised as you see your weight start to go back down, if stayed on point it will be followed by some fat loss also. Don’t let the sudden spike on the scale the days after scare you.
