🌻healthy = as close to the original form of the food as possible🌻 People are being tricked into buying unhealthy foods THINKING that they’re better than the ones they’re trying to replace, when in all actually those foods are just as bad (if not worse)! A perfect example is all of the fake vegan meats, eggs, & cheese you see almost everywhere you turn.  • These are highly processed foods that often contain addictive preservatives, lots of salt, and empty calories which are the LAST things you want to eat if you’re trying to eat better to lose weight or to support healthier blood pressure levels.  • There’s always 15,000 things to do, so most people don’t take (or have) the time to actually look up the ingredients in these foods, they just trust that they’re not being lied to… • The best way to TRULY start eating healthier is to recreate WHOLE FOOD versions of the foods you’re trying to remove from your diet & process them yourself! That way, you know EXACTLY what’s being put in it. There’s plenty of whole food ingredients you can use to make plant based burgers without buying the ultra processed vegan burgers from the store. I was just reading the ingredients of a *very* popular “plant based” burger & realized it doesn’t even contain any vegetables😵‍💫 • Don’t have the time to trial & error new recipes with alternative ingredients? Don’t know which alternative ingredients to use for which dish?
