Matt said “yeah you can make these way more often if you want” 😂 if I had to choose, I think the cottage cheese is slightly fluffier and cheesier, but that doesn’t mean the Greek yogurt ones are bad! We love bagels in this house so either recipe is just good to keep on hand when you want a bagel and don’t have one! RECIPE BELOW 👇  Ingredients: -1 cup all purpose flour (I added an extra 1/3 c for cottage cheese) -1 tsp baking powder -1/2 tsp salt -1 cup plain non-fat greek yogurt OR blended low-fat cottage cheese (my favs are @FAGE and @Good Culture ) -1 egg beaten for egg wash  -whatever toppings you like. I used everything bagel seasoning. For the jalepeno cheddar bites, I added some shredder cheese and a picked jalepeno on top before baking (after egg wash) HOW TO: -in a bowl, combine flour, baking powder, salt and either greek yogurt OR blended cottage cheese and combine into a smooth dough -divide into 4 equal parts and form into bagel (or whatever shape you want) -boil for 60 sec each side -remove and egg wash and top with whatever seasonings you want -place on lined/greased baking sheet  -bake at 350F for 40-45 mins on top rack (all ovens vary, so just watch until brown!) -let cool and enjoy!  #proteindough #proteinbagel #highprotein #highproteinbagel #healthybagels how to make protein bagels at home

Preheat the oven to 375 F and line  baking sheet with parchment paper. 2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt. Add in the greek yogurt and stir together until the dough forms. 3. Lightly grease or dust a counter surface with flour and set down the dough. Knead for just a minute to fully combine everything. Form into a small circle and cut into 4 equal nieces. Roll each piece and form bagel. 4. Make a quick egg wash by whisking the egg in a small bowl. What you’ll need: ✨ Cooking spray - 4 sprays ✨ Self-rising flour - 1⅓ cups ✨ Plain fat-free Greek yogurt - 1 cup ✨ Everything bagel seasoning blend - 1 Tbsp How to make it: 1. Preheat oven to 350℉. Lightly coat a silicone mini bagel pan with nonstick spray. 2. Place flour and yogurt in a medium bowl; stir well with a wooden spoon until just combined and then keep mixing dough in bowl with your hands until smooth, about 1 to 2 minutes (if dough is too sticky to knead, add 1 to 2 more tbsp flour); let dough sit 5 minutes. 3. I would just pop them in the air fryer, top with cream cheese and enjoy with some air fryer turkey bacon. So yummm! These are the perfect way to sneak in a little extra protein in the mornings too- I hope you try!! SAVE THIS POST and SEND to someone you wanna try them with 🫐 Recipe: * 1 1/4 cup all purpose flour * 1/4 cup ground flax * 2 tsp baking powder * 1/2 tsp salt * 1 cup plain greek yogurt * 1/2 cup frozen blueberries, can also use fresh 1. To start, preheat the oven to 375F and prepare a baking sheet by lining it with parchment paper or a silicon baking mat. 2. In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, salt, baking powder, and ground flax. Whisk the ingredients until they are well combined. 3. Next, add in the greek yogurt and mix using a spatula, then use your hands to knead until you have a dough. Fold in the frozen blueberries and knead until they are well incorporated. 4. Flour your hands once more and flour a clean working surface. Bring the dough out of the bowl and place it on the flour surface. the recipe:  2 cups flour  2 cups greek yogurt  2tsp baking powder  dash of salt  1 egg (egg wash)  seasoning of choice but I used everything but bagel seasoning + you should too  the macros:  317 calories 18g of protein 52g of carbs 4.25g of fat  if you want to use non fat greek yogurt you absolutely can, this brand was recommended to me via TikTok and I’m very happy with the outcome. I did plan to boil my bagels before baking them but my baby was ready for her nap and I just wanted to get them in the oven lol  Consider using almond flour if you’re looking for a lower carb - higher protein alternative. You may also consider adding cottage cheese, additional egg, etc. this is a base recipe and I’m looking forward to playing around with different versions of it.  I did oil my non stick pan and bake on 400 degrees for 20 minutes, then turned the oven down to 350 and baked for another 15 minutes after flipping the bagels. Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat. 	2.	Mix Ingredients: In a bowl, combine the self-rising flour and Greek yogurt. Mix until it forms a dough. If it’s too sticky, add a little more flour, 1 tablespoon at a time. 	3. Recipe makes 4 good size bagels 145 calories each 25g of protein  10g of fiber  The key is the @King Arthur Baking flour. You can grab it from Amazon it’s linked in my store front under food.  Take a cup of flour 1.5 teaspoon of baking powder 1/4 teaspoon of salt 268g of @FAGE plain Greek yogurt. I’m using the lactose free version.  Mix your dry stuff then add the yogurt.  Mix it all together and make your dough.
