Immune-Boosting, gut supportive Turkey Chili High in protein and fiber, to keep blood sugar balance throughout the day. Naturally free of dairy and gluten. Ingredients: - 1 lb organic ground turkey - 1 tbsp olive oil - 1 large onion, diced - 3 cloves garlic, minced - 1 medium sweet potato, diced - 1 can white beans, drained and rinsed - 1 can diced tomatoes - 1 cup chicken broth - 1 tbsp chili powder - 1 tsp cumin - 1 tsp smoked paprika - 1 tsp turmeric - 1/2 tsp cinnamon - 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper (optional) - Salt & pepper, to taste - Microgreens (for topping) Recipe: 1. Heat olive oil in a large pot. Sauté onion and garlic until fragrant. 2. Add ground turkey and cook until browned. 3. Stir in diced sweet potato and cook for 5 minutes. 4. Add chili powder, cumin, smoked paprika, turmeric, cinnamon, cayenne, salt, and pepper. 5. Stir in diced tomatoes, white beans, and chicken broth. Bring to a simmer and cook for 25-30 minutes, until sweet potatoes are tender. 6. Serve topped with fresh microgreens. 7. Optionally some fiber rich gf crackers, I love @simplemills rosemary sea salt.
