Let them. . 💕Let them laugh at your “little social media career.” 💕Let them side-eye your decision to put YOU first. 💕Let them think you’re “acting funny” or “changing.” 💕Let them misunderstand your journey. . Because here’s the truth: Their opinions don’t define your future. Their judgment doesn’t shape your dreams. . . The road to success is often paved with skepticism, and that’s okay. Let them watch from the sidelines while you put in the work, stay consistent, and make moves that align with your goals. Let them talk, but more importantly, let them see you succeed. . . The best way to silence the noise is to let your success speak for itself. Make the right choice today, take the leap, and enroll in Beautifully Social—the course designed to help you take your brand & social media presence to the next level! It's time to step confidently into your dreams and take advantage of the many opportunities waiting for you! . . Your dreams are valid, and your potential is limitless. Don’t let someone else's opinions hold you back from taking that leap of faith and finally turning your dreams into reality!! . . https://beautifuleatsandthings.com/beautifully-social/ . . #SocialMediaCourse #SocialMedia ##Dietitian #blackdietitian ##MediaDietitian #entrepreneur
Here in the South, snow days are rare, but when they come, it always feel like a magical winter wonderland. . Everything seems to slow down—mainly because, let’s be honest, the South shuts down when it snows! 😆 No errands to run, no places to be...just a day to stay cozy on the couch, sip something warm, and enjoy the moment. . . We took some time to play in the snow and had the best time, but no one enjoyed it more than Charlie, our mini poodle, who dashed around like he was in his element! And of course, I couldn’t resist taking a few minutes to create some content because, well, it’s what I love to do! Snowy backdrops make everything feel extra magical, and I’m all about capturing the moments that make life so sweet. . . Days like this remind me to slow down, be present, and embrace the little things—whether it’s Charlie’s paw prints in the snow, the laughter of my kids, or the simple joy of being together. ❄️ . . #snowman #snowday #winter #dietitian #BlackDietitian #MediaDietitian
💕✨️I’M A COVER GIRL, Y’ALL!!! 🥹 I was interviewed by the sweetest journalist about a month ago but had no idea that my story would make it to the front page! I can’t even begin to describe the overwhelming gratitude, joy, and emotions I feel seeing my face on the cover of the Birmingham Times—sharing my journey of self-acceptance, body positivity, and redefining health on my own terms. Like many of us…growing up, I was taught that “healthy” meant thin. That my worth was somehow tied to a number on a scale. But over the years, I’ve learned that pursuing a healthier lifestyle doesn’t have to mean pursuing thinness. It can mean: 💕Building strength and endurance 💕Choosing foods that nourish your body and bring you joy 💕Engaging in movement that feels good instead of feeling like punishment 💕Learning to love and respect yourself—especially on the rough days THIS is the message that I wanted to share with the world, and to have my story featured in The Birmingham Times means everything to me! You may not know this, but The Birmingham Times has been a pillar in our community since 1963. It was created to empower, uplift, and amplify the voices of Black leaders, changemakers, and everyday people making an impact. To now be featured as a cover story in a publication with such deep roots in our history is beyond humbling! And to make this opportunity even more amazing, they also highlighted my latest venture—Beautifully Social! An Exclusive Social Media & Branding Course designed to help others build their confidence online and show up authentically in the digital space. For anyone who’s ever felt like they had to shrink themselves to fit into the world’s definition of beauty and success—listen up. You don’t have to shrink. You don’t have to conform. You are ENOUGH, exactly as YOU are! Thanks so much to my friends and family for your continued love and support! #MediaDietitian #Dietitian #BirminghamTimes #CoverGirl #BlackDietitian https://www.birminghamtimes.com/2025/01/andrea-mathis-not-your-average-wellness-influencer/

The story playing back in your head is not true! . Listen, I’m constantly telling our clients that your feelings are valid, but they are not facts. You can honor how you feel but then remember what is real. . How do you verify if the story you’re telling yourself is based in facts or fleeting feelings? 1) demand proof of yourself- if you believe that you’re not ready, PROVE IT. If you believe working out indoors is inferior to working out at a gym, PROVE IT. 2) talk to a trusted friend or even your fave dietitian to walk-through the emotion and story you’re telling yourself. They typically will have the voice of reason because their feelings are not invested like yours. . The story you’re telling yourself will either propel you into the person you want to become or hold you back from taking any action. . Is there a story in your head holding you back? . . #blackdietitian #blackdietitian #blackwomenlosingweight#wlscommunity #nutritionforwomen #longtermweightloss #healthynothungry #healthynothungry

💕About 10 years ago, I found myself at a crossroads—scrolling the internet, searching for a new career path. #sponsoredtravel #foodfluence I felt stuck, uninspired, and unsure if I was truly walking in my purpose as a dietitian. It was very frustrating and disheartening. But a few years later, something changed. I started connecting with colleagues and friends on social media, and eventually, I took a leap of faith to create Beautiful Eats & Things. Beautiful Eats & Things became my safe space—a platform where I could unapologetically share my recipes, my nutrition philosophy, and my voice. And to my surprise, people actually wanted to hear what I had to say. Fast forward to today, and I’m still in awe of the doors that have opened simply by trusting my instincts and putting my heart into my passion. One of those incredible opportunities was being invited to FoodFluence in Berlin, Germany. Attending FoodFluence was truly unforgettable—five days filled with learning, exploring Berlin’s vibrant culture, and connecting with some amazing dietitians, inspiring speakers, and sponsors. From the engaging sessions to the dance party, every moment was perfectly curated by @stephenmoreginger and The Ginger Network Team. Their attention to detail made this event even more meaningful. Beyond the food, culture, and laughs, I’m walking away with so many ideas and evidence-based insights to share with you and the communities I serve. And to think this journey started with feeling stuck 10 years ago. If you’re in that place right now—unsure of your next step, know this—sometimes the hardest moments are just the beginning to something amazing. Keep going, trust your voice, and lean into what feels right for you. Thank you, FoodFluence, for an experience I’ll cherish forever. #Dietitian #RegisteredDietitian #Berlin #MediaDietitian #Germany #BlackDietitian
