My Perimenopausal Fitness Routine ๐Ÿƒโ€โ™€๏ธ Exercise Plyometrics involves explosive movements which boosts bone density and improves dynamic muscle This type of exercise, reduces osteoporosis risks and supports cardiovascular health and metabolism. Tell me itโ€™s not true!  In the past, before I mastered the roller coaster mood swings, one of my children used to say โ€œeveryone take coverโ€! ๐Ÿคฆ๐Ÿฝโ€โ™€๏ธ The good news is that it can get better. But not if you do nothing except wish it better.  Through a combination of HRT and healthy lifestyle changes, I am mostly on an even keel now.  Three of the most impactful changes Iโ€™ve made have been these - 1 - eliminating alcohol except on the odd occasion; 2 - walking in nature and in daylight as often as possible; and  3 - reducing sugar and junk food in general.  Not having alcohol avoids the dark moods that follow after drinking.  Walking in nature brings a calm feeling like nothing else can.  When you reduce your sugar intake your mood can improve considerably through avoiding the sugar lows and increasing your energy levels.
