The gym is a tool to help keep you consistent and have a place to workout no matter what the weather. But when the weather is nice, get your ass outside!  Go for a walk. Run. Hike. Play recreational sports. Ride a bike. Do a Bodyweight workout outside. Snowboard. Ski. Mountain bike.  Plat with the kids outside. On top of being active, your serotonin (happy hormone) will be bursting at the seams because humans are meant to be outside. Start Slow and Be Realistic: Begin with small, manageable goals that fit into your schedule and energy levels. Maybe it’s a 10-minute workout in the morning or a short walk during lunchtime. Setting achievable targets will help you build momentum without overwhelming yourself. Your entire world has just been rocked. You may be sleep deprived for a long time. Your hormones are going to be all over the place. Just start moving. Trust me. Something new is going to come up every day for a long time in this new world of motherhood.  2. Prioritize Self-Care: As a busy mom, it’s essential to prioritize self-care alongside your responsibilities. Schedule regular workout sessions as you would any other appointment, and don’t feel guilty about taking time for yourself. Remember that your health and well-being are vital for your family too. Attach the baby to you if need be or hit laps around the yard during baby’s nap. If there’s a will, there’s a way! 3. Involve Your Baby: Incorporate your baby into your fitness routine whenever possible. This could mean going for stroller walks or hitting 30 minute dumbbell workouts in the house. Not only does this allow you to bond with your baby, but it also makes fitting in workouts more feasible and enjoyable. 4. Aim for a high protein diet: a high-protein diet is crucial for many reason but the main one I want to focus on today is muscle preservation. A high-protein diet insures muscle preservation. The more muscle you have, the faster your metabolism. This means burning more calories! 🔥  Aim for 1g protein per lb of goal Bodyweight  EX: goal weight is 150lb = aim for 150g protein per day  ..
