➡️The summer of 2023 was a really hard one for me. Perimenopause was stealing my life (even though I had no clue at the time)👇🏼 I spent months feeling like I was losing who I was. The joy I used to have turned into me faking a smile so no one would know I wasn’t happy…. My confidence turned into anxiety. The nights became long as I tossed and turned, worried about things that were so out of my control and walking around the house unable to sleep and breathe…. I was putting on weight, despite eating well and exercising… I felt so stressed, I started losing my hair and became irritated at the slightest thing… The joint pain was horrible…I had no love for even going to workout like I once had… I was 42 years old and felt so frustrated with myself and a body that didn’t seem like mine anymore. One day, I was on the phone with my mom crying because I felt so “off” and alone. She suggested I go see a doctor. I hated doctor’s offices and wanted nothing to do with them…but something pulled me to go see a functional medical doctor. ➡️I remember walking into my appointment and just telling him everything. By the end, it felt like therapy. To finally have someone listen, to tell me I wasn’t crazy and to say he can help me come up with a plan to find me again. If this story sounds like you, make sure to follow me. I share my experiences, advice and tell you my story so you don’t feel so alone. Perimenopause cannot steal your joy, there are so many answers out there and I’m here to help you through as I share my own journey. If you are unsure if you are in perimenopause, here are some common symptoms👇🏼 *weight gain *anxiety * brain fog *irritability/rage *joint pain *inflammation *hair loss *high cortisol levels *hormonal acne *tired but wired *night sweats *hot flashes ‼️Drop an emoji describing your symptoms in the comments👇🏼👇🏼👇🏼👇🏼 #perimenopausehealth #perimenopause #menopauseweightloss #genxwomen #menopausalwomen #over40mom #womenover40 #midlifewomen #midlifeblogger #midlifejourney #perimenopausesymptoms #womenover40 #anxiety #perimenopausal

Are you in the thick of menopause?😩🔥 Trust me, I get it. I’ve been there. I was MISERABLE — hot flashes, brain fog, mood swings, the whole mind-body sh*t show. 🤯🤬 But I refused to settle for feeling that way. Here are 5 daily steps that helped me feel like myself again: 1️⃣ Hydration & Nutrition💧🥗 Your body is already going through enough— fuel it with what it needs. As a health coach, I know firsthand how much the right foods and proper hydration can make a difference. 2️⃣ Prioritizing Sleep😴🌙 Night sweats? Insomnia? Been there. Fixing my sleep hygiene was a game changer for my energy, mood, and sanity. 3️⃣ Move Your Body!🏋️‍♀️🚶‍♀️ Daily movement helped me stay balanced and kept that stubborn midlife belly fat in check. 4️⃣ Mindfulness & Self-Care🧘‍♀️✨ Managing stress through breathwork and self-care rituals saved me. Menopause had me feeling like I had ADHD — scattered, unfocused, all over the place. This helped me so much. 5️⃣ Community & Expert Support👯‍♀️💬 You don’t have to do this alone. Find women who get it. Find a doctor who actually listens because most doctors won’t prescribe HRT (and many don’t fully understand menopause). Experts like @Dr Louise Newson , @The Pause Life , & @Barbara Taylor, M.D. are leading voices on menopause — follow them for real, science-backed help. Menopause isn’t the end of your life. It’s a transition. And there’s real help out there. 💪✨ 💬Comment “COACHING” to book a 1:1 session with me for 50% OFF🎉, and let’s get you feeling, functioning, and looking your best at every age.✨ #LookYoungerLonger #MenopausalWomen #Menopause #Over50Women
